1. UFTAA FOUNDATION level & EBT course

2. UFTAA CONSULTANT level course [self study]
|
|
Students will learn how to handle all major aspects of the travel agency business, provide accurate advice to clients on major tourist destinations, produce customised and international inclusive tours, sell international business, incentive and conference travel arrangements, construct complex fares and routings by applying advanced IATA fare construction principles; issue and re-issue tickets and other documents for all types of international journeys, familiarise yourself with common national requirements, IATA's Regulations and the role of the National Travel Agents' Associations, learn effective selling skills, understand the Billing and Settlement System to give your travel operation a distinct operational advantage.
Designed for students who have completed the Foundation Course or the previous Standard Course, travel consultants with some industry experience, who wish to upgrade their professional competence, staff of tour operators and consolidators, and airlines.

4. Global Distribution System Fares & Ticketing [self study]
|
|
Students will learn to apply mileage system pricing skills to international routings, read and interpret GDS displays relevant to mileage system pricing, define common fare construction terms and abbreviations, identify and price different journey types (including one-way, round/circle trip, Round-the-World and mixed class journeys, use the IATA Fare Formula to correctly price a journey, apply global indicators to routings, assess and apply air fare taxes, read, interpret and apply fare rules, converting between different currencies and NUCs, apply all minimum-fare rule checks in pricing itineraries, use side trips, add a manual fare to a GDS booking file, know how to use GDS to issue tickets for manually-priced reservations, apply the Lowest Combination Factor to quote the most competitive air fare, apply rule exceptions, construct and read a linear fare construction, decode and interpret each field of an e-ticket, issue electronic tickets.

5. FIATA Dangerous Goods Regulations [Initial]
|
|
Students will learn to apply the IATA Cargo Dangerous Goods Regulations correctly, understand the legal aspects and the responsibility of the shippers, agents and airlines involved in the transport of dangerous goods, identify and classify individual dangerous goods items, verify that the goods are properly packed, marked and labeled, fill in and check the "Shipper's Declaration for Dangerous Goods", complete Air Waybills in accordance with the applicable IATA rules and procedures, deliver dangerous goods shipments to the airlines "ready for carriage"
Designed for traffic and operations staff of international air cargo agents, sales and marketing staff of cargo agents and consolidators, sales, reservations and acceptance staff of airlines, airport handling and surface transportation companies, shipping department staff of manufacturers, wholesalers, importers and exporters, all staff of cargo agents, airlines and manufacturers who wish to expand or refresh their knowledge of dangerous goods regulations and procedures.

6. FIATA Dangerous Goods Regulations [Recurrent]
|
|
This revalidating diploma course is available to students (cargo agents) who have already completed the IATA/FIATA Dangerous Goods Regulations course or an equivalent dangerous goods course and who must regularly update their knowledge in order to remain qualified under the terms of the applicable IATA Resolutions.

7. FIATA Cargo Introductory Course
|
|
Leading to the IATA/FIATA Introductory Course Diploma, the IATA/FIATA Introductory Course is one of the requirements for accreditation as an IATA Cargo Agent. The Introductory Course takes into account a number of changes in the air cargo industry and the evolution of the industry towards the adoption of the Montreal Protocol. Students will learn to make appropriate arrangements and reservations for international air cargo shipments, calculate correct rates and charges for general cargo and special cargo (specific commodity and class rates), complete Air Waybills in accordance with applicable IATA rules and procedures

8. Airport Operations course [self study]
|
|
Students will learn the world of airports, discover the various airport customers and partners, learn about the different areas of an airport, such as landside, terminal, and airside, understand airport economics.
Designed for recently appointed staff working for or at an airport, travel industry staff wanting to understand airports, police, Immigration and Customs staff having to deal with airports, people wanting to work in aviation by upgrading their knowledge.

SKYLINE SHORT COURSES

1. DANGEROUS GOOD REGULATIONS (Basic)
|
|
The DGR Initial or Basic Course provides the participants with the knowledge of the applicable rules and procedures, and the skill to accept or refuse a customer’s consignment of Dangerous Goods efficiently and professionally at a basic level according to the prevailing national and international industry standard. The program meets the requirements of the UAE Civil Aviation Regulations certified by the General Civil Aviation Authority GCAA as well as those of IATA and FIATA. The GCAA has approved the training programs at Skyline University College.

The DGR Refresher Course provides its participants with a review and an update of the applicable rules and procedures, and maintains the skill to accept or refuse a customer’s consignment of Dangerous Goods efficiently and professionally according to the prevailing national and international industry standard. The program meets the requirements of the UAE Civil Aviation Regulations certified by the General Civil Aviation Authority GCAA as well as that of IATA and FIATA. The GCAA has approved the training programs at Skyline University College.
This revalidating course is available to students (cargo agents, airline staff, handling agents, shippers, etc. ) who have already completed the Dangerous Goods Regulations course and who must regularly update their knowledge within a 2-year or 24-month period in order to remain qualified under the terms of the applicable UN Regulations, IATA Resolutions, and UAE Civil Aviation Regulations.

3. Dangerous Goods Regulations (Awareness Cat-8)
|
|
The training program provides the participants with the knowledge of the applicable rules and procedures, in the correct handling of various forms of hazardous materials according to prevailing national and international industry standard. The program meets the requirements of the UAE Civil Aviation Regulations. Approved by the GCAA General Civil Aviation Authority.
Designed for airside ramp supervisors of attendants and porters who need to instruct and monitor the loading staff as to the correct loading position of certain types of dangerous goods, warehouse personnel responsible for the storage of goods, handling import and export cargo, mail, and stores.

4. Dangerous Goods Regulations (Awareness Cat-9)
|
|
The training program provides the participants with the knowledge of the applicable rules and procedures, in the correct handling of various forms of hazardous materials according to prevailing national and international industry standard. The program meets the requirements of the UAE Civil Aviation Regulations. Approved by the GCAA General Civil Aviation Authority.
Designed for airline, airport, ground handling, travel, tour, consolidators, and cargo agents personnel who ensure that unchecked and checked baggage of aircraft crew and passengers, unaccompanied baggage shipped as cargo, that may contain articles and substances known as dangerous goods comply with the Regulations.

5. Airline Customer Service

7. Basic Load Control

Basic Load Control is a training program that provides participants of the air transportation industry with the skill to control the weight and the balance of a departing aircraft at any airport.
